大家最近过得怎样？外面天气那么好连学习都不觉得累了！

新的一周意味着更多的考试和作业，但也代表着新的机会和希望。我总是觉得如果以一个快乐而不是忧郁的心态迎接星期一早晨，一整周的心情都会好起来。就算你现在学习生活压力山大也一定切记我们有一位靠得住的上帝。就算你没注意的时候他也在看护着我们！

老人院义工：每两个周六下午4点至五点我们会在离学校15分钟的Waterloo Heights老人院做义工。义工内容包括：唱歌、弹琴、玩游戏、还有和在那里的20多位老人聊天。想参加这个非常有意义活动的请联系June: wdwj007@hotmail.com

团契：这星期团期活动会继续MC2038进行。本周的查经会查考亚伯拉罕的生平和他的信心。更重要的是我们会讨论把他这样的信心实践在我们的生活中。没有了信心是基督徒灵命就无法增长，所以千万不要错过这个了解它的机会！

祷告会：每周一晚上我们会在一起为团契、所有兄弟姐妹以及周围的世界祷告。祷告是我们与上帝最容易也是最好的沟通方式，所以千万不要错过！如果你有意带祷告会请联系June: wdwj007@hotmail.com

How are y’all holding up this week? The weather outside is so nice even studying doesn’t seem so bad anymore!

Another Monday brings us more assignments and midterms. However it also delivers new opportunity and hope. I’ve always felt that if you welcome Monday with a cheer rather than a groan, then the entire week feels much smoother. Maybe you are bogged down by the heavy workload, but remember there’s always a God for us to turn to. Even when you are not paying attention, He is always looking after each and every one of us!

Volunteer at Senior’s Home: every other Saturday between 4:00-5:00pm, we volunteer at a senior apartment called Waterloo Heights 15 minutes’ walk from campus. We will sing songs, play piano, play games and chat with the 20 residents living there. If you would like to join this great activity, please contact June: wdwj007@hotmail.com

Fellowship: we will continue to have fellowship at MC2038 on Thursday. In this week’s Bible study, we will examine the life of Abraham and find out how he used his faith in action. More importantly, we will discuss how we can draw from his experience and apply it to our lives. Faith is vital for the spiritual growth of a Christian, so don’t miss the opportunity to learn more about it!

Prayer meeting: every Monday evening we gather and pray for each other, for our fellowship and for anything else that needs praying. Prayer is the most convenient and the most important way for us to communicate with God so make sure you don’t miss it! If you are interested in leading Prayer Meetings, please contact June: wdwj007@hotmail.com

Pre-study: immediately after Prayer Meeting, we will prepare material to be used in Thursday’s bible study session. During pre-study we will also dive deeper into the passages and explore the hidden meanings/implications behind these words. Even if you do not wish to lead you may still come, because we usually have in-depth discussion during that time. This week’s passage features Genesis 12:1-9; 15:1-7; 21:1-7 plus Hebrews 11:8-19, and 12:1-2. If you are interested in leading Bible Studies, please contact William: fujiening@hotmail.com we need more Bible Study leaders!

Daily Devotion: during Daily Devotions we get together to read a short passage from the Bible and engage in discussions. If you’d like to learn more about the Bible and our Faith this is a great place to start!

Just a friendly reminder: don’t pull too many all-nighters. You only have so many of them in our lifetime, so why not spend them on something more “necessary” than cramming for exams?

Wow time really flies! Kind of hard to believe we are almost one month into the term already. For all of us here at UW, this can mean only one thing: midterms!! :D

Are you too familiar with the dreary feeling of walking to exams in middle of Waterloo’s notorious blizzards? We are as well. Do not fear, however, because God is always with us and looking after our well-beings at every turn. No matter what your situation is, simply trust that He has already provided whatever you need and be at peace.

校园国语团契同工会

Dear Brothers and Sisters
We are especially thankful this week, to have met so many first year students, and many new friends at clubs day. We hope you will join us and together, we will seek fellowship with one another, and seek our Lord Christ Jesus.

Weekly Fellowship
MCCF will be meeting this Thursday in MC 2038. 7-9pm We are honored to have Dr Andrew Wong to come in and discuss the relation between Science and Faith. In a world where Science seemingly contradicts with Faith, how are Christians to find the deep underlining truth.

For those of you that want to have dinner together, we will meet in front of DC library at 5:30pm.

Prayer Meeting
Prayer Meeting will be held this Tuesday from 5:30-6:30pm in SLC 3103.

Dear Brothers and Sisters

Welcome back to Campus everyone. This week is our first official week to start MCCF Fall 2011

Beginning of Term
MCCF will be meeting this Thursday in MC 2038. 7-9pm We will spend time in getting to fellowship with one another, and begin this amazing term. We will have short games and get to know our brothers and sisters in Christ

For those of you that want to have dinner together, we will meet in front of DC library at 5:30pm.

Prayer Meeting
Prayer Meeting will be held this Tuesday from 5:30-6:30pm in SLC3103. Come join us in prayer, as we present our requests to God, and praising His glorious work on this campus, in our fellowship, in our lives.

KWCAC Dinner and Evangelical Rally

Our local church KWCAC will be having an evangelical rally this coming Saturday. Free dinner will be served at church (612 Erb Street West) at 6PM. Please contact Angela (226-868-1149) if you need ride arrangements.

Clubs Day

Thursday and Friday will be UW's Clubs Day for this term. If you would like to know more about MCCF, please feel free to drop by our booth at SLC's Great Hall anytime between 10:00 - 3:00.

We hope to see lots of new faces this term, so feel free to invite your friends Thursday night to hang out with us.

Unofficial meeting!

For this upcoming Thursday (Sept15th), we will be having an unofficial meeting. The agenda on the item is to simply catch up with one another, and have a special type of Bible study called "Pray Read". This is intended for Christians, in teaching us a method of diving into the Word. I encourage everyone to participate and grow in our walk with Christ.

It will be 7-9PM in MC 2038!

We will have dinner before fellowship, and we will meet at 5:30PM at DC

Also, I would like to welcome our new chairs for this semester, Yushi Hu and Steven Zhang. Yushi Hu has been with MCCF for many, and Steven has been serving with the Kitchener Waterloo Chinese Alliance Church's Mandarin Youth Fellowship. We also have a great addtion to our team, Situ will be our councillor for this term, helping us with our leadership, as well as any personal items that you would like advise with. She is very friendly and we look forward to an amazing semester learning from her.
